
BLUE HILLS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
ON SNOW POLICIES
A valid snow pass and equipment is required to be on snow at any time.
If you do not have a snow pass and/or equipment, for your safety and the
safety of others please keep off the snow trails.
Ski Blue Hills Management LLC permits skiing and snowboarding to those persons who have purchased a lift ticket /snow pass or who have a season’s pass. The ticket and pass DOES NOT include the right of persons other than Ski Blue Hills Management LLC employees to provide ski, snowboard, or other lessons on our premises to other persons or for persons to take lessons from anyone other than a Ski Blue Hills employees with consideration or without consideration paid. Please accept this notice that anyone giving or receiving a lesson by or from a person other than a Ski Blue Hills employee shall immediately have their lift ticket / snow pass voided and will be required to leave the premises. Ski Blue Hills Management LLC reserves the right to revoke lift tickets/ snow passes and season’s passes, and reserves the right to seek criminal and civil remedies against offending parties.
Sorry, No snow toys allowed allowed at any time. This includes but is not limited to:
- toy skis and snowboards (skis and snowboards that do not have metal edges)
- sleds, tubes, etc.
For your safety and the safety of our employees we may shut down the lift
and/or close the hill in case of inclement weather, (severe storms, high winds, fog, etc.).
You must be 18 years of age or have a parent or guardians signature on a
Blue Hills waiver form to participate in any Blue Hills on snow event or activity.
Blue Hills currently only permits skis and snowboards with metal edges, if you are not sure if your
equipment is permitted please call prior to arrival.
We do not and can not guarantee short lift lines.
No uphill skiing is allowed.
LESSON POLICIES
Booking Policy:
Lesson availability is limited to what you see in the online calendar. Availability is updated often. Please check back periodically to see if your desired lesson is available. Please do not purchase a snowboard lesson if you are trying to purchase a ski lesson and vice versa. Please note that any changes made to your booking once it is reserved and paid are subject to re-booking policies. Changes greatly affect the schedules of our instructors.
Cancellation Policy:
Payment is required in full online upon reservation. Up to two days (48h hours) prior to the lesson reservation, lessons may be canceled for a 100% refund or 100% credit for the 22-23 season. No refunds will be offered after this period. Up to 1 day (24 hours) prior to the lesson reservation, lessons may be canceled for a 100% credit. This credit is valid for the 22-23 season. Within 24 hours of your reservation, lessons may be re-booked for an additional 20% of the original charge. Re-booking is subject to instructor and lesson availability. We offer 100% refund due to illness or injury with documentation from a medical professional.
All credits are issued in the form of a smart voucher on your online account for the monetary value of the product canceled. Smart vouchers can be redeemed for any online product.
Rebooking Policies:
Re-booking is subject to instructor and lesson availability. Up to 1 day (24 hours) prior to the lesson reservation, lessons may be re-booked free of charge. Within 24 hours of your reservation, lessons may be re-booked for an additional 20% of the original charge.
Late Arrival:
Please arrive 45 minutes ahead of your reservation time to check-in, get booted up, and meet your instructor. If you opt to rent equipment from our shop, please park at least 1 hour ahead of your reservation time to also allow plenty of time for the rental fitting process. If you are late to your lesson you will have the option to take the lesson for the time remaining until your scheduled finish time or re-book. Re-booking is subject to instructor and lesson availability and 20% of your original charge will be added. There will be no refunds issued.
Ski Area Policies:
We know that weather and snow conditions vary, but if the resort is open for skiing/riding we will be providing lessons as scheduled and there are no refunds or credits issued due to these events. If the ski area closes, we will refund your original form of payment or re-book your lesson for no additional charge. Our operations rely heavily on the weather, so we encourage you to review your emails and voicemails and visit our website and facebook prior to departing for Blue Hills Ski Area.

EQUIPMENT POLICIES
You must be 18 years of age or have a parent or guardians signature on a
Blue Hills rental form to rent ski or snowboard equipment.
Rental forms may be downloaded from our website prior to arriving to arriving at Blue Hills.
We ask that all snowboarders use a leash with their snowboard.
If you forget your leash, don't worry, we have them available in our retail store.
Unfortunately items can be stolen if left unattended. We
suggest to all of our customers to lock up skis and boards.
Blue Hills will not be responsible for any stolen or damaged property. If something does get taken or damaged we recommend that you file a complaint with the local Police Department.
No backpacks or large bags will be allowed on the lifts for safety reasons.
